You don't think Guice would have broken the record if he played against Ole Miss with the majority of carries? The holes that LF7 had was amazing. I could have broken the record that night. He went untouched every time.

Guice and Fournette had the same number of carries against Ole Miss.

I like Guice but I agree with op. 37 carries is pushing it a little too far. I was ok with it until the last drive when we were up 21 with 3 minutes to go.

Both are great backs with different styles of running so it is hard to compare them.

The ypc comparisons do not really work because you have the compare the carries vs the competition they were up against.

I think a lot of it is about matchups. Fournette was the better back against Ole Miss. He just seemed to hit those holes so much faster and it looked like Ole Miss was scared to take him on. Guise was the better back in other games. Unfortunately we really did not get a chace to see them get equal opportunities in the same games.
