That isn't even remotely the same situation.

LF broke the record by 25 yards early in the 4th quarter of a 10 point game.

Guice broke the record by one yard on his last carry of the game with under 2 minutes to go with a 21 point lead.

Do you not understand Fournette took himself out of the game because his ankle got rolled up on again? Our fan base is so blinded by the facts and want to come up with excuses for everything.
Go back and watch the game and stop whining about the record. Records are meant to be broken.

Ole Miss hadn't got passed midfield in the second half. Guice was breaking off runs of 7, 9, and 14 yards on the previous plays and we were already in FG range. And, on top of all that, Fournette was coming off of a high ankle sprain.
