Recognizing a future school shooter

This video from WAFB gave me chills. It's 2 mins long then the end is absolutely horrifying for anyone with children. It was developed by Sandy Hook Promise, a group with the goal of preventing future school shootings. Good God this is spooky but I think it's important to share.

Not allowing anyone unauthorized on school grounds is a start. At colleges there's no way of preventing it

Damn. They'd have locked my arse up in 3rd grade if reading a gun magazine and making gun shapes with a finger are tell tale signs of a school shooter.

I am not being a dick, but when you said it was "absolutely horrifying" i was expecting something more... well... horrifying. The two things I did notice while watching was the dude looking at some gun shite on youtube in the background and the instagram picture, but since the instagram picture is the only thing that the guy saw.. If someone reports that, is there anything that can be done?
If the kid would have went to the principal and said "hey, ________ has a picture on instagram of him holding a gun" the principal can only do so much right? I am sort of playing devils advocate, but also... Its always easy to say.. After something happens "well they should have noticed this or that" but its not like if you do notice something they will say "oh.. he will probably shoot up a school, lets do something". I am not sure if there is anything they could do that would prevent him from still going through..

Yeah, many loners and weird kids are picked on and can snap. Especially if they have mental issues.
I went to a private Catholic high school with about 100 students per class, and there were few if no bullies. Everyone was cool with each other. Of course there were the cool kids and the nerds, but we all got along and never excluded anyone from parties and social gatherings.
There was no "zero tolerance policies" for bullying, we policed ourselves and others.
Guess I can chalk it up to good parenting. Unfortunately not enough of that going on today.

I remember when I was in high school.. At some point they started cracking down on people who had their gun in their truck, on the gun rack.. People would go hunting before school or after.. Today, based on this video, if someone had a shotgun in their truck because they were going hunting... they would be a suspect.
