They don't care. They get the money and service is typically covered at every other dealership.
There are a few things that certain places won't do like one time I had zaktech paint protection. Bought the truck in Springfield MO at Reliable Chevrolet, but when I moved to North Carolina they didn't provide that service. I called back and got my money back.
Same with gap a lot of people buy gap with the dealer. I always got great rates, but would refinance and I'd call the dealer to get the remainder off the gap. Gap is ALWAYS cheaper with a bank/credit union versus dealership package.
