Seems like every LB recruit is a OLB. Need another thumper like a Beckwith or White.

Boggles my mind why LSU can't get several stud ILB's every once in a while. I remember one year Miami got (5) of the Top 10 or so in the country. Not sure why these guys would not be busting the door down with so few on the roster and Aranda at the helm. But, this is not a new phenomena. We may never know the answer.

Beckwith wasn't recruited as an ILB nor was White for the most part.

I have a feeling with Aranda officially signing his contract we are going to have a rush of 4 and 5 star LBs coming on board. LBs are the center piece of his defense!

I don't understand why Aranda doesn't try to flip every LB currently being offered or committed to Wisconsin. That team is such a damn anomaly. I don't understand how they can constantly field ferocious defenses and suitable offenses with maybe 7 players on roster that LSU would even think of offering. They recruit at the same level of Kentucky yet rank in the top 15 pretty regularly and I think I read that they've put the 3rd most players in the NFL in the past 5 years.
That's absolutely ridiculous when you think about it.

Arkansas averages recruiting classes that are ranked twice as good.

Their success doesn't seem possible.

Will Ignont and Monty Rice are a couple of possibilities. Also, I think Levi Jones has the frame to grown into an ILB, though he may be more of a hybrid.

Shanon Reid if they tell him he's a take. Ignont is visiting in January. I think we could flip him from Tennessee.

We need Ibs asap ,but even though we are small there when injuries happen and teams know it ,our defense STILL gave us the ball back all year to get the w and we just couldn't get it done on offense for whatever reason .
