Well - this is a little different analysis (regardless of how well your point is taken) - because we KNOW the Catholic thing happened, happened for an extended period and was widespread. We just don't know how far back it went. So, the inferences folks draw start out with a lot more support than something like Comet Ping Pong out of the blue.

Just to make sure we're comparing apples to apples.
