That's the thing, though. The constitutional reforms may be needed, but the globalist PM tied his fate to the outcome of the vote, and so it became a vote against him more than it was a vote against the reforms.

I get this, but I think those expecting some MAGA like outcome in Italy are likely to be disappointed. Maybe the tide is turning in Italy, but Italians, in many ways, brought this on themselves.

Good governance would help I'm sure, but a wholesale change in the population's mindset regarding the role of government and personal responsibility is needed to really make a dent, I think.
