Looking for some Christmas arrangements to send out, and there are a ton of national florist brands such as ProFlowers, Teleflora, 1800 Flowers, etc. Are any of them worth a shite or do they just ship their crap across the country?

I have used 1800 flowers and been pretty satisfied

They will ship SOME orders across country but it's for the very exotic flowers and it's extremely well packaged and prepared and will be over nighters

Most orders get filled by a local florist and are done very well

They usually send a confirmation email and if you want to double check or specify things with the florist doing your order you can call them

I order my wife flowers once a week so I've spent obscene money with them and they have pretty good rewards program

Just lookup florists in the area you're trying to send. I promise you you'll get better results.

Most of those services don't actually make arrangements. They just bid out the job to a local florist in the area of delivery. They take a cut of your money, so you get less product than if you spent the same amount directly with the local shop.

You are better off to find a local florist and call them.

Just pick the flowers yourself and you'll really save money.

I have had good results with Larry's National House of Flowers and Floral Arrangements. Larry personally handcrafts all the orders and adds his touch to each bouquet. I ordered my wife flowers for our anniversary back in 2012 and they should look great when they get here! Hoping sometime next spring! She's going to be thrilled like always. They will add a vase for an extra 350.00. So Larry's is my recommendation.

Yellowstone, Bryce Canyon, and Zion are certainly worth a damn

I used Teleflora once and the flowers were embarrassingly bad. Find a florist that is in the flowershop network (flowershopnetwork.com). I've used two florists affiliated with that network and they do great, though expensive, work.

Most of them just have contracts with local florists and pass the order on to them.
