Feminism came out of a bunch of hideously manly women (and lesbians) who had few options apart from spinsterhood.

You see this play out on a micro-scale with people like Pamela Anderson playing up their bodies and sexuality for all sorts of personal gain, and when that train runs into "the Wall" (and can no longer trade on that) they resent it, and even start to campaign against it.

Women are crazy.
