So youre saying you have an elite QB. Cousins happens to be an elite fantasy QB this year. Just because you didn't draft him early doesn't mean he's not elite in fantasy. He didn't mention anything about overdrafting on a big name QB, he said have an elite QB is a must, and he's absolutely right.

Well, I see your point in that Cousins is a QB1 right now. Although I will say that most of his production has come recently, he has not been elite all year. Also, this year I've started 6 different QBs based on the matchup, most from picking them up off waivers, starting them one week, then dropping them. In fact, I dropped Cousins after 3 or 4 weeks then picked him back up a few weeks later. I've been streaming QBs all year. So no, having an elite QB his not a must.
