girl had deeper issues than just the bullying IMO. Bad deal and no reason to take her own life. Sympathies to her family.

Also, schools are told to adhere to very strict guidelines surrounding bullying:

1. The bully has to have a distinct size advantage over the victim
2. The bullying has to have occurred over an extended period of time
3. The victim cannot have struck back in any way, either verbal or physical, during the time the supposed bullying occurred.


So basically, if you're roughly the same size as the person who's bullying you, or if you've ever told them something to defend yourself, then they're not going to help you, because that's just considered "kids being mean" or "teasing," not bullying.
