yeah. It was a bad attempt at humor.
Ohio State limits reps on players. Once they hit a certain number of reps they sit out a lot of spring practice.

The "2,000-rep Club" is something Meyer and Co. have brought the Buckeyes. Any player who reaches 2,000 combined competitive reps in practice and games is watched with extra attention by the coaching staff and will be somewhat limited in spring practice.
There's a lot more they are doing for players now to ensure that players are healthier. It would appear that not all programs take that approach.
I know that they've completely changed the training protocol for Marshon Lattimore. He had hamstring problems his first two years and once they changed his training program the hamstring issues have gone away.
