I've had my season tickets since the mid 90s, so I may be way out of the loop these days on this, but my cousin told me years ago that there was like a 5 year waiting list to get season tickets. Is that no longer the case?

TAF told me that phil rank was used to allocate season tickets (higher rank gives you first pick of seats that become available before new season) and lifetime points are used for bowl game and... future LSU national chip games :) I'd consider continuing to buy from others but with 2 small kids who will want to attend games in the future and anticipating going to make most home games I'm leaning towards buying my own. I believe season tix donations go towards lifetime points vs. buying from others which doesn't get you any TAF love.

SouthEndZoneTiger--Last year, I think all who got on wait list had a chance to get tickets. Really a lot of season tickets sold on ticket exchange at cost.

It's all about your priority points and how much you have given to TAF. If you give a little every year you wait longer. If you give a lot then you can get them the first year. Just takes money. So no, 5 years is not accurate.
