Tell that to the 5* running back recruit that not only hast to share carries with another back but the QB as well.
I'm not sold on Harris being better , but also not sure BAMA has pushed the envelope on the running game . Kiffen seems to kinda be like Mike leach ... just does it cause he hast to .

The best offense in NFL history, the 2007 patriots, was very arguably a spread offense. We've seen it plenty in the NFL, but the hash marks certainly help limit some of it.
We're seeing an ever increasing use of single back shotgun sets that spread out defenses year after year. There are spread oriented offenses.
