Can I get around out here with my iphone maps? Or is coverage shite?

When I was learning the area I was able to use my phone tracking map. I didn't have cell service, but the GPS kept plotting my path.

Once you run the area a few times you won't need the map any more

That is all i ever really used out there. Just make sure you have the whole map loaded before hitting BSM.

Very little to zero ATT coverage.

Be careful cutting across through bakers and half moon, for whatever reason the deep channel has moved around a little bit.

Getting lost isn't the worst thing that can happen out there this time of year.

I rarely have service when fishing the Biloxi Marsh.

look at the map before going and screen shot the areas you think you will be going to so you will have it in your photos. obviously it won't show you your location but it's better than nothing

Download the Navionics app for $10. You can download a large area (all of Southeast LA, Mississippi and Alabama if you want) so that it's on your phone and you don't need data service. It's also one of the most updated and detailed mapping services out there.
