Hopefully they had another vehicle and it was gone.

This is a major flaw showing now in the disaster planning that should have been done before this fire. At the 11:30 press conference there still is not a command center in place to handle people looking for loved ones. They need to really upgrade their preparedness because this could have been a huge tornado not a 100 year wildfire

In interviews yesterday they said that he and his son took their only vehicle. His wife called him and said that the fire was across the street from their house. He told her to hang up and call 911 and he would head straight back. That's the last time he heard from her or their daughters.
