I agree with you regarding stats, obviously as they say "stats don't lie" but when things are so close you now can put the subjective part into the equation and the eyeball test is CLEARLY in the favor of Etling. Harris always looked like a deer in the head lights in the pocket where Etling was a hell of a lot more polished and looked in control "except for the Bama game - which is understandable." That and Harris missed way too many WIDE open receivers. So stats say they are equal but eyeball test says they weren't even that close!

When Harris had 9 TDs and 0 INTs through around 7 or 8 games last season, there wasn't a single person posting about how Harris didn't pass the eyeball test.
It's how Harris arrived at the same overall averages as Etling that's the issue. He started and his peak was higher than Etling, but he's regressed to where his low end is worse than Etling.
