If LSU fans haven't figured out by now that the media will criticize us no matter what we do, then I don't know what to tell them or people like you who think it matters. Think back just a couple weeks and even to thanksgiving night when mark may ripped us bc texas leaked info about Herman and how we were trash bc we weren't gonna give O a chance, blah blah. The same ones begging for him to get a chance are now laughing at us at every opportunity bc we hired the Cajun who sucked at ole miss. Funny how the narrative changes isn't it? Yea forgive me, but frick the media and frick other fan bases. We have a right to expect a great football program too. We need to bring in the best coaches out there and I don't give a rats arse what the media or any alabama fan thinks about it. You don't care about our program so your opinion means shite

All day long. If Briles was so involved in Gang Rape cover up. HE WOULD BE IN JAIL. Common sense.

It's ok for bama to rehab coaches with checkered past but not lsu? Bama took heat for saban's lying arse and unethical behavior but winning has glossed that over. The fact you have bama fans scouring lsu boards and putting their two cents on why not to hire briles should tell you everything. He is a guy who could help change the balance.

His recruiting, contacts in texas, to go with his offensive mind, will elevate lsu to be a stronger more dominant program. HE WILL NOT BE THE HEAD COACH. We have a head coach to deal with compliance issues.

I'm not worried about PR, Trump was the biggest PR nightmare in political history. He won. The media is going to make a big deal out of nothing anyway.

For the record, A lot of this he covered up rape stuff is ignorance. Everything I've read on the issue is that he was negligent for turning it over to compliance rather than dealing with it himself. doest that make him negligent? yes. Does that make him as someone who covered up rape? hardly. He turned it over to the people he thought it should be turned over to and trusted them. I don't believe he's a saint, however, I don't believe he's this criminal people, who have no clue what happened, are stating either.

This was a civil matter, not a criminal matter. Therefore, it was about money and about getting ken star who gave Clinton hell for getting a blow job in the oval office. Briles was collateral damage. It's why he still got his 20 million.

I couldnt agree more with this, i know one of the coaches on this staff and he said the same thing.. 110% agree.. its the idiots that only believe the medias version that says "Briles Raped someone" couldnt be further from the truth... Hire the man..
