re: Moving a house

We moved one a few years ago. It was over 20 x 30 cottage and my husband did it himself with a few buddies. He raised it, put it up on a heavy flatbed trailer, moved it, towed it home down our long treacherous driveway , set it down and within 2 days we had the elec and water hooked up and were happily living it in with no cracks or any damage from the move.

Did not have to deal with permits down our rural highway, we just snuck it down the road with friends/family to help and watch the event.

Pretty cool actually.
