Your remark coach O hasn't proven shite yet as a full time coach, well going 5 & 2 without an outstanding qb, a good one but not outstanding one, his record stands out pretty damn strong to me. Losing to florida was a fluke, O should be 6 & 1 , losing to bama 10 - 0 is nothing to be ashamed of. coach O wasn't my 1st choice either, unfortunately Saban, myers,& Herman wern't available.

Being an interim and a full time head coach are completely different jobs. O did not build this team, did not change the playbook, and did not put together this coaching staff. He did a phenomenal job getting the team motivated to play to their abilities, that's really it. Remember this was a team that talent was was expected to be in the CFP after all.

He has proven to be a great motivator and a good interim head coach. Has not proven a damn thing as a full time head coach running a program. I hope he can do better than he did at ole miss, and I think he can. Until he proves it I'm not going to tout him as some accomplished great head coach that there aren't 11 better coaches than him thiugh.
