De'Andre Johnson: What would be your reaction?

What would your reaction be if CEO & co. brought in De'Andre Johnson?
For those that don't know who he is, Johnson is currently at EMCC (Last Chance U), where he's piled up the yardage both through the air and ground as a QB. The Lions are No. 3 in the country and their lone loss was a game Johnson missed -- I don't know the reason why.
Johnson was originally at FSU but was kicked out the summer before his true freshman year for punching a woman in the face at a bar -- allegedly, the woman used racial slurs and swung at him first.
He's had high character check marks in HS, his brief time at FSU before the incident and at EMCC, or at least Brittany Wagner has tweeted that out.
Nearly 2,500 yards passing, 750 yards rushing and 30 total touchdowns.

In theory-everybody deserves a second change. But women-batterers are notoriously radioactive (and rightly so)-so you know going in that you will be slammed with criticism. I think you'd REALLY need to believe in the kid. You can't take a chance if you don't truly believe it has no chance of ever happening again.

I personally think he got wasted off Y-bombs in Yiannis and that is where it occured. POS for sure, but those Y-bombs are no joke.

I posed this same thread/question when DJ took an LSU visit in the spring (a very unpublicized visit). He had been on Cam's radar for a while.

I've seen that video of him at the bar and he shouldn't have been kicked off the team for it. Dude has a right to protect himself. Fatty deserved it.

Wow, this is a tough one. Would love to see Brennan and Narcisse both sign and give it their best here.
But given LSU's past history of developing QBs, I would lean toward giving him an offer.
But it's important to note that bad history of QB development was during the Miles years, and he is no longer here, of course.

Actually got to meet him and have talked to alot of guys who played with him at first coast. Everyone had glowing remarks about him just made a really really dumb decision.
As far as talent he would have probably been Florida States starting qb this year but they said the same about John Franklin
