Alleva will certainly be gone if this is a failure. University President's are more touchy and involve alot more than just athletics.

It's all politics. F. King likes Alleva because Alleva is totally spineless, but the board of supervisors is a bunch of useless political appointments. Unless fans put a ton of pressure on them, nothing is going to happen. And most fans are completely in denial about how terrible this hire was.
Remember, Alleva has already torpedoed both basketball teams and nobody seems to give a damn.
