Things did go as planned for him, this year. Let's be honest, he may have a huge upside, and he is by far a better coach than O, but 6 million is a lot, for a guy who hasn't proven much as a HC. Sure, he beat OU and Louisville, but he lost several games that he shouldn't have.

You idiots do realize the exact same things were said about Saban's first deal, right? We vastly overpaid him based on his MSU performance.
