And what would have had Alleva do differently?

Give specifics

While I wish it would have worked out, I am glad LSU said frick yourself when he began playing games.

I disagree. LSU would be waiting for Herman and Texas to talk before naming O head coach if Herman were playing LSU. LSU said to shite or get off the pot. I'm not happy with the O hire but I'm glad LSU didn't let Herman dictate how this would play out.

I really think Texas was set to stick with Strong, thinking they were going to come out and have an impressive victory against TCU yesterday. When the opposite happened, I think they have no choice but to get rid of Strong and go after Herman, which changed everything.

No. Alleva was smart enough not to hire an inexperienced pretty boy who cant beat mediocre competition (some of you translate Herman into Saban's nightmare).

Herman is not ready for Prime-Time. If you can't see that then you are blind.

The only way you could say that Herman played LSU like a fiddle is if we had gone into a bidding war with Texas over him. Apparently, we didn't even try.

Les plays LSU like a fiddle a couple times, Jimbo played LSU like a fiddle, Saban beats LSU like a drum.
