Because he has done one heck of a job in a very difficult situation without his own staff. If you don't see a tremendous difference in this team in only 2 months then your an idiot. Again without his own staff of recruits. Yes he lost to Bama and Florida but a big portion of those losses are a result of a very mediocre offensive line of which he had to do the best he could with what he's got. I think he would continue the strong recruiting and keep the in-state talent. He may have lost to Florida albeit a strong team in not a pretty fashion, but he didn't lose to SMU or Memphis. What a joke

But he did lose to vandy, Wyoming, wake forest, and every sec school he played for a whole year.

This is such an assinine argument. Ppl say this as if all things are equal. Tom Herman wouldnt have lost to SMU and Memphis with LSU's talent. He also wouldnt have lost to Florida. What would O have done with Houston talent? Douht he beats Oklahoma and Louisville.
