The pro-Strong Camp at UT is waving the white flag

Strong is gone. It's over, win or lose today. There is no need to torture yourself with a boring Big 12 game. The way I see it, if Herman is not in the LSU fold by Sunday morning, he's headed to UT. And I would guess a short term contract with O would be more palatable with LSU administrators than a coach that the fan base perceives is second-tier. Better taking a chance on the "second-tier" coach you know with a short term contract than investing long-term with a second-tier coach from some scrub program. That's my theory regarding Aleeva's decision logic.

Considering the University president is in the Keep Strong crowd, I'd say they have a pretty strong leg to stand on.
