Bakers signing and dancing.
Girly hipster boys prancing around.
My kids like the all floats so I turned it on so they could watch.

My girls are watching it as well. My oldest daughter just said "why are they showing this woman in a cat costume instead of the big balloons". My youngest followed up with, "mommie, I dont like this song. Can we change it?"

No, Lee, nobody is watching the most famous Thanksgiving Day Parade show ever.
BTW, it's great that your kid can skin a buck and run a line, but if you really wanted to help your kid, then you would also teach him about other things in life that would help him grow culturally. It's the variety of experiences in life that make us well rounded people.

I've always liked watching the various HS bands and dancing corps. Then of course the arrival of Santa Claus.
But my God, I know mainstream music hasn't fallen off that much. Has it? Some of those float acts are just awful.
