You're from NO. Maybe you heard about them cooking the numbers to reduce murder rates. If a victim died on the spot he was murdered. If he made it to the ER alive and died he was 'deceased in hospital.'
Politicians in urban centers have a motive to keep rates down even if they have to lie.

Murder rates nationwide have been falling for decades. Not just here in NOLA. This has been widely reported for years. If you think it's all a hoax and that there are more murders now than in 1990, then there's not much point in engaging.
