Are there any wealthy black areas?

Prince George's county. Mostly government jobs but it's mostly black, has high incomes, and very little poverty. In fact it's probably in the top 5% in terms of low poverty rate and median incomes.

Still had 80 murders last year tho.

That's really interesting...

They have a low poverty rate, high income, and it's 65% Black and 15% Hispanic, and 19% White, and they have a murder rate of about 10 per 100,000.

That's more than 2x the national average.

Yet that is a wealthy area... they should have LOWER than the national average. Not 2x higher.

Is there a reason why they have so many murders in such a wealthy area other than it being due to race?
