But, you don't need a saw a skinning knife and you can quarter a deer just as fast once you know what you are doing. I've quartered plenty of deer and elk with just a knife, you don't want to cut through bone with a saw or you are doing it wrong. Just follow the natural muscle seperation and cut between the bones. Plenty of western game youtube videos. There's one where the guy from Muzzy ( what's his name?) quarters an elk in like 5 minutes.
