Saban and fisher did not average 10 games a year at LSU.

My bad, maybe so. However, that was bolstered by the 13-1 season. We got stomped many times when we shouldn't have. Ole miss, Georgia, Florida to name a few.

So now we add Saban to the list of coaches that LSU should pass on in favor of Orgeron (that is, if Nicky were in the mix).

This Pro-O idiocy is unbelievable.

Any Scenario is better than Jimbo. You can't even be excited because you have a new coach, we all know how he did at LSU and now at FSU. Miles all over again.

Ok fool. Give me sabans records outside of 2003 at LSU

Sabans records gave no indication back then that he was capable of doing what he is doing at BAMA

Look at that link and tell me you still believe that. Look how LSU was performing pre-saban vs post-saban..."fool".

fisher for damn sure hasn't proven at FSU in a weak ACC, that he is anything near what saban is now.

Yeah i am aware Jimbo is not Saban, but name me one coach who lsu is able to get, atm, and tell me who is more proven than Jimbo.

I just did. Why don't you try researching a little more before making asinine threads.

Outside of 2003 due to great defense, and Rohan's game day performances, Saban or Fisher were nothing special here. Fishers offenses were nearly as frustrating as miles even under saban.

National championships at each and multiple All-SEC QBs that were NFL first round draft picks?

Honestly thoufh, 2005 was the only bad year while jimbo coached for les. The auburn game was typical les miles. But after that, Jamarcus lit it up.

Any scenario is better than a coach with an NC, 2 playoffs, and 3 ACC champs. I want you to really think about that for a second.

Miles all over again

I don't see how you can say this.

First, les walked in to LSU while we were peaking. He didn't have to do that much to be successful. Jimbo walked into previous power school that had been drained down for the past 10 years. Sound familiar????

Second, les' biggest problem was QBs. That's why he was fired. We know that won't be the case with Jimbo.

You do realize Saban wasn't the coach he is today either in 2003...

It's stupid to think Jimbo is the same coach 13 years later.

Everybody upvoting this statement but turn around and use CEO past performance at Ole Miss as the reason not to hire him at LSU for head coach...

Well the same goes for CEO, he is not the same coach 12 years ago either, so some people need to stop being hypocrits...

This is hilarious. Just a couple of days ago people were downplaying Herman, commenting on his losses and saying he's Texas-bound. Someone reported that Jimbo is the guy and Aranda will be retained and nearly everyone was on board with that, posting the and "IT'S HAPPENING" memes.

Now, Houston beats Louisville and now suddenly people don't want Jimbo anymore, it's all just a smokescreen and Herman is really the guy.

LSU fans kill me

Congratulations! Your expectations and nothing is ever good enough mentality is why college football has the coaching market it does today. It's why every college has to over pay for coaches now.

And you're the same person who sits back and complains about the cost of tickets and having to pay to park.

You O-bots crack me up.

Jimbo would be fine. I prefer Herman, but Jimbo is still a good choice.
