re: ESPN's Public Editor admits moving left has hurt ratings (Scary Quote Inside!)

ESPN has been pushing hard to drive content instead of simply providing content, the ladder which provided them with such lofty sustained growth and prosperity. It also led to an unwieldy growth in airtime and excutives who have slowly eroded the core ESPN model.. the people in charge are no longer purest to the idea that the story is the actually game.

ETA. What's scary isn't what was said as much as the lack concern by those around such thoughts.. they don't even see it as scary
