I don't agree with what he did at the convention but to say he "suggested Repubs should vote for Hillary" is flat out false.

Firstly I Don't blame Cruz for how he handled himself at the RNC. He did not, however, suggest voting for hillary.
Secondly, even tho he did not like how TRUMP campaigned against him it showed if he couldn't handle just Trump then he couldn't handle everyone being against him during the general (everyone as in MSM, Establishments, and Hillary).
