re: Married guys, do you regret getting married?

All I'm saying is that I can understand why most guys think marriage doesn't work and is a terrible idea.. the problem I have with that is that too many guys expect too much out of a marriage or are just so hell bent on getting married that they often 'settle' or get married for the wrong reasons which leads to most of the problems people here are posting about (which I agree, happens a lot in marriage)
I get that marriage isn't for everyone, hell there are times that I wished I was single again too, but when I see my fiancé and our young son (yes, I had a child out of wedlock, shoot me, but we've been together almost 8 years) those feelings go away...
I'll use my best friend as an example: he'd always see me and my SO and our son and tell me over and over 'man I want what you have so bad (a good woman and a healthy, beautiful son).. so what did he do? The next girl he dated, they got married after about a year of knowing each other... turns out, she's a vegan SJW and he is a typical SELA outdoorsman... he's miserable right now and can relate to most of the negative feelings about marriage that are posted in here but it's his own fault for being in this position
