re: Playing golf with a member of the Playoff Committee today

It just seems like when this began the idea was to put the "4 best teams in the playoff." It doesn't seem like this is the case, they are simply taking the top four teams, and possibly being influenced by what the other polls say a day early. They are giving to much weight to conference champions, when conferences are not equal in strength.

I would think Ohio St. last year with all of the NFL talent, and they dismantled ND with all of their NFL talent, should have been in. The whole they didn't win their conference argument is not valid. Bama in '12 case in point.

Year 1 was chalk, Year 2 has some debate, Year 3 will most certainly have some upset people.

This system is no better than the BCS before it, now we just get more people who can bitch.
