I had never heard of it until about a week ago and now it's everywhere. I just saw a commercial with the cast of SNL doing it. I don't get it. I must be old.

Here it is if you're old too and don't know what I'm talking about

Following the equally annoying running man challenge, I'm ready for it to go away.

First time I've ever seen it. You have middle schoolers at home?

Every so often black people come up with something that white people run into the ground. See Cupid Shuffle, Nay Nay, and Mannequining.

Actually I have no idea but that sounded good.

I thought that people might have gotten the idea from the HBO series Westworld.

But I guess I was wrong.

I didn't even know about it until I saw Fournette post one of the team on Instagram Saturday night.

Looks like a game we used to play as kids on our front lawns. We called it Statues.

Just a little piece of history. Back in the 70s and 80s, when a big screen was a 19" tube tv, most TV shows froze the scene at the end of the show and ran the credits. Well there was this fantastic comedy called Police Squad in the early 80s. The actors would just freeze at the end when the credits ran. It was quite funny. There was always someone or something moving in the background.

Was this where it originated? I doubt it, but it is the first time I remember seeing it.
