Who won D-III last year? And why did they create D-IV?

Heavily favored St. Louis came from behind to beat surprise E.D White 3-2 in the D-III title game last year. They played up to D-II from 2010-13 and won four straight titles before dropping back down to D-III in 2014 and winning 2 of the 3 since then. Coach Oertling does an amazing job with that program. Love watching them play.
They added a fourth division because we felt the level of competition in the three divisions was sufficient and adding a fourth division would give small schools a better chance of starting their programs. We went from 32-team brackets in 3 divisions to 24-team brackets in 4 divisions. I think it went well last year. Eventually we'll have 32-team brackets in the 4 divisions, but the quality depth isn't there yet. Maybe 10 years from now it will be.
University won the BR district last year. It should be more competitive this year, as Episcopal and St. Michael both have senior-heavy teams this year.
