Mandeville and St Paul dominate highest classification at the state level.

Woodlawn went to the state semis in Div. II last year and finished the season ranked #3.
St. Amant and Catholic are pretty strong Div. I teams and Episcopal and U-High are good Div. III teams.

when I was in high school, the best teams were Jesuit, Brother Martin, Lafayette High, Caddo Magnet and Captain Shreve got good for a year or two, Acadiana was pretty good. There was no real threat from Baton Rouge.
