I had a place off 967 in Miss, live on the La side of it and have property now that butts up to the creek that separates 967 and hwy 61

Coyotes are much worse than most people realize. A few years ago I had a stand that I had to cross a creek to get to. Crossed one evening and everything was normal. next morning the sand was disturbed and there was blood all over it. Went and investigated when it got daylight and found a 6 pt the coyotes had corned in the creek with steep banks. looked like they ran him back and forth in a 100 yard stretch and wore him down. We routinely see them during hunts and when just working on the place.

Pigs are becoming an issue as well. Before we had a random boar that would show up on cam near the west fork of Thompson Creek. Now we have resident pigs living on our place. They showed up after we select cut a portion of woods and created some thick cover.

We border several large land owners and we are all on management practices but its nothing to make several hunts in a row without seeing a deer.
