A couple of people I know wanted Clinton because she would make better SCOTUS appointments. That was never very likely, she is about as liberal as Adolf Hitler.
What might happen is that President Trump (!) -- that still looks weird - might have to do some horse trading, this for that, and he might put another Scalia or Thomas on the Court. Hopefully he will resist that.

Scalia and Thomas are exactly who he should pack the court with. So tired of you liberals unable to get their priorities passed legislatively, runs to the liberal courts that will legislate from the bench. Time to put an end to this.

If Scalia had 5 kids, aged 2 through 13, I would pray Trump nominate them for the next 5 liberal sloth resignations.
Another 80 years of Scalia-like thinking in a 7-2 USSC is the way things ought to be.
