Never thought I'd say this, but the truth is we would have had much more success running Guice against Bama than we did Fournette.

While Fournette is way more physically gifted, Guice has better vision and is shiftier getting through smaller holes.

Does not matter who we have running the ball. When you play teams like Bama they are good enough to expose your weakness which is QB play. Guice with more carries might of had a more yards but not much more than what Leonard Had. But I do agree he has better vision and is shiftier than LF. I might be more excited about him next year than any running back we have had in the past 10 years. He is one helluva player and exciting to watch. I think Leonard is more suited for the NFL and will do very well. Both are great students and leaders of LSU. Glad they are on our side

And they would not be nearly as focused on stopping him as they were LF7. For the past two years their goal has been to make him look bad. We should have used this to our advantage but didn't. Guice and LF7 in the backfield at the same time would have won that game.
