I just don't see the committee putting Ohio Sate in if they don't go to and win the B1G CCG. The place a high value on winning that CCG.

Exactly.
After the massive public backlash against Alabama getting a Mulligan....the committee isn't going to alienate the public and cheat for network profits.
They and we wanted a committee to get rid of TV ESPN deciding shite.
You have to actually win something to get into the title picture...unlike Alabama scenario a few years ago.
False narratives and folderol - getting in through the back door are over.
I thought the point of the committee was to get rid of cheating from the networks for ratings.
