I'm the opposite. I don't work very hard at all and make pretty good money. I could work a lot harder and make a lot more money but I'm happy

Thats part of the problem though. The company knows what Ive done and so its expected to always do better month after month. I know thats what I signed up for and have been compensated for. I'll work my arse off with any job Ive had but at some point you get to the point where you can only do so much and being miserable at work starts to show at home.
Ive been a firm believer that I would always promote positivity with my kids since they look up to my wife and I as their example in life. How can I expect them to be positive about things at school (essentially a childs first career) when I am miserable doing what I do. I obviously have stuck with it in order to provide for my family but when is enough enough and its time to move on to something that doesnt make me hate going to work every day?
