Chargers' stadium initiative (Ballot Measure C) did not pass. Chargers' future in SD now uncertain:

Shame. San Diego is easily one of the most pleasant cities in the country. An NFL team is a pretty big draw for people to move there. I think the city deserves an NFL team.

Good for San Diego. frick the NFL for trying to strong-arm taxpayers to pay for thier workplace. Want hundreds of millions for 8 home games per year, 24 hours of use.

I don't blame either party. I don't blame the Charger ownership for wanting more money and I don't blame the voters for telling them to pay for their own damn stadium.

Los Angeles can't support two teams, so I think it's best they stay in San Diego.

Good for San Diego. Tax payers shouldn't foot the bill for stadiums.

The chargers are a poorly run organization that often times costs their fans. But many here haven't read what ballot measure C was and how it was funded. It was not going to be paid directly by the citizens of San Diego and wasn't going to be attached to the general fund. This was an increase in the hotel tax rate. If you think the 4% increase in that rate is exorbitant then I can't disagree but it was a funding mechanism that relied on mostly outside funds including money from the Chargers and the NFL.

The Chargers have some of the worst owners in all of sports.

It's actually pronounced "San DiAHgo," which of course is German for "a whale's vagina."
