Yeah, I don't get it either. The sales pitches sound enticing, but as soon as you get a moment of clarity and do the math, it's just ludicrous.

I knew a guy back in college who got roped into MLM. Truth be told, if anyone could've "made it", it would've been him. He busted his arse for almost a year, and probably got "paid" a total of $500...of course, that doesn't include the thousands of dollars he actually lost by paying into the company every month. Not to mention, all his friends & I had to start avoiding him, 'cuz he was in constant sales pitch mode. By the time I'd graduated & moved away, he was in a deep depression....
