Gattis doesn't have huge career splits but a bit better vs LHP, and much better last year.
Vs RHP
'16 230/307/488 111wrc+
Career 241/298/478 111wrc+
Vs LHP
'16 288/341/545 133wrc+
Career 271/311/500 116wrc+
My guess is that Gattis and McCann have a near straight L/R platoon. But if he's able to prove his 2nd half of '16 (288/358/594) represents a real step forward, then he needs to be in the lineup everyday. I'm just sure there is anything that points to a true change.
