He had been square up 2 innings before, but had settled back in. He was pulled with 1 on and 2 outs with a 5-1 lead to bring in a guy he said he wouldn't bring in with runners on base.

Maddon panicked last nigh by bringing in Chapman in the 7th and panicked again tonight. Just look at him. He's a wreck

Last night was bad. Chapman should have never seen the field last night. Good thing for the Cubs is they have John Lackey hanging around to give them a few innings before they start scraping the bottom of the bullpen.

The wild pitch was just a freak occurance. Maddon shouldn't be blamed for what amounted to a bad bounce. He struck out the guy he was brought in to face. Just caught a bad break.

he literally looks like PM out there. He looks clueless. He is alternating between making the safe calls (pinch running the leadoff in the 9th), overthinking things (not bunting the pinch runner to 2nd), and panicking (attempting to bunt with a guy on 3rd and 2 strikes instead of swinging away).

He's been a disaster.
