While a really nice machine, that is way overkill for a lawyer.

That is a mobile workstation for stuff like Autocad.

You should be able to find a Dell Latitude Series with similar specs for less money.

Agreed. I have a big dell precision (not sure exactly what model) and it weighs about 20 pounds. The power supply is also huge and weighs about 5 pounds. It's a big heavy computer. It was tough to find a decent bag that fit it.

It does have plenty of horsepower to handle my design software. I often have autocad, solidworks, and ansys all running at once and it doesn't mind. I would not want to lug that behemoth around if I didn't need the power though. Holy hell is it heavy.

ETA: I just looked it up. Mine is an M6800, the computer weighs 8.2 pounds, the charger weighs 2.2
