How do you figure that? So the guy that constantly discredits a whole genre of music isn't acting superior? I'd say if anything, Crosby is acting like he invented music.

I don't think he's shitting on a whole genre, just Kanye's delusion that he's a great musician/singer/songwriter. In fact, that's pretty much what's he's saying verbatim. And while I think David Crosby is an arse too, he's got quite a few accomplishments to back up his opinions. His thoughts certainly hold more weight than Kanye's opinions.
