What a retarded dipshit.

The fact that the lower-tier facilities are sub-standard is a reflection on them, not LSU.

That's like saying we should quit the foster parent program, because they feed off of broken homes.

Seriously, is this moron able to feed himself and breathe on his own?

Please tell me he's not procreating.

It's more like buying a dog from a dog breeder that treats the dogs poorly instead of adopting a dog from a shelter. You shouldn't give them the business.

If we are buying tigers from poorly run zoos and giving them the money to stay in business, we should cut that shite out.

But that shouldn't be an indictment of our keeping a live tiger. We treat Mike very well and there's nothing wrong with having a live tiger mascot.

But that isn't what happens at all. LSU doesn't pay for the tigers.

Please tell us what shite "we" should cut out.

We aren't.

The article was pretty maddening to read because I could practically hear him reaching to try and make LSU look like the bad guy. He even at some point, after being vaguely complimentary about the humanitarian aspects of LSU having a Mike, made some kind of argument that adopting a tiger is somehow "at the expense" of the other cats who are in these deplorable conditions. As if he believes LSU should adopt all of them...? There were a lot of reaches in the article, at least as it related to LSU. A good but of it was criticizing these shitty shelters, which is a good thing I think.
